Client Security Solution Fingerprint software for Windows XP Descritpion:

The AuthenTec Fingerprint Application is a Biometric logon application that enables the user to logon to their personal computer through the use of the biometric fingerprint reader in replacement of a password.

The following 3000 Family notebooks are supported:

- 3000 N100, N200
- 3000 V200

The following operating systems are supported:

- Microsoft Windows Vista 32-bit
- Microsoft Windows XP

Notes:
- This version of the AuthenTec Fingerprint Logon Software is intended to be used on a system that has not had biometric devices and software installed on it previously.
- While we have tested this installation on many different configurations, we note that it may be possible to conflict with prior versions of device drivers, navigation demos, etc.
- Please remove all AuthenTec biometric software, or other vendors biometrics from the target system if conflicts arise.

Installation instructions

For Windows Vista, click Start, then click Start Search.
For Windows XP, click Start, then click Search.
For Windows Vista, enter setup_fpr in the search field, then click Search Everywhere.
For Windows XP, click All files and folders, enter setup_fpr in the search field, then click Search.
Double-click setup_fpr.exe. You may see a dialog stating "A program needs your permission to continue". If you see this dialog, click Continue.
Follow the instructions on the screen to finish the installation.
